For tattoo artists and gurus…?
Sorry, I just posted this a bit ago but for some reason it went in the wrong section.
So, I am sure I will catch some flack for this because I have been catching flack for several years now. But we all know of those ‘do-it-yourselfers’ out there (scratchers) that are hurting people and themselves. So why don’t those of us that know better actually give positive advise to these people instead of just calling them names and telling them how stupid they are? After all, most of them are going to do it no matter what anyone tells them so don’t you think it best that we give them at least some minor pointers in machine tuning and techniques to use and at least keep them from really hurting someone?
Sure, tell them how stupid they are and that they should obtain an apprenticeship like the rest of us but knowing good and well they will not do this and go on with there kitchen counter tattoo work we should give them at least some small advise to get them in the right direction.
TY Jenn, not to many pps agree with me. That is why I been scoffed at for years now.
You are very right nymph. Not only do they need to know about there equipment they need to first know about sterilization techniques and blood borne pathogens. But yes, this can be explained in such a manor for them to get an understanding over the internet. Can learn everything about it, no. But there are sites aplenty that have abundant info on this subject that they can be directed to. And now with the number of crap equipment being sold via ebay there is a much greater need to try and help these folk. It use to be hard to get your hand on a machine or make one yourself. Now you can a piece of crap on ebay for less than 50.00
Bravo…well said kat…you rock…at one point it was almost impossible to get equipment without a license then companies like superior popped up and the scratchers went crazy and the Japanese began mass producing eastern garbage. It is a shame and those that give us that do quality work a bad name are aggravating. But we cannot win the battle without giving a little ground. They have to be educated and yet ridiculed at the same time in a non offending manor or it will accomplish nothing. That is why I have made DVDs, books, and hold seminars.
Horror tattoo half sleeve – which character should I get first?
Well I am going to get a half sleeve of horror movie characters (may ever get two half sleeves as I like a lot of horror movies!) I can’t decide which character to get first… So I’m putting my tattoo decision in your hands!
Should I get:
Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street
Regan from the Exorcist
or Captain Spaulding from House of 1000 Corpses
Thank you!
I will in time be getting all the classics such as, leatherface, tar man, jason voorhees, creature from the black lagoon, beetlejuice etc…
Is it haram to wear fake tattoos?
I like fake tattoos that look like butterflies.
